Entering the house the “family way”, through the ell or coming in from the garage, you’re drawn to the full-length rear windows of a 4-season sunroom that look out over a private pond and beyond to a backdrop of mountains including three White Mountain peaks in the distance.  This space is combined with a great coat room, allowing you to sit and watch the deer and turkey while New England seasons continually wrap you in splendor.  On chilly days you can hang your gloves to dry and pull up a chair in front of the toasty gas stove.

From here, a few steps lead up into a big, charming country kitchen.  Tastefully brought up to date, yet retaining that antique feeling, this kitchen will satisfy the fussiest chef in the family.  There are oodles of cabinets and a big brick island capped in granite providing an enormous amount of workspace.  There’s room for a huge farm table still leaving space for you to create a sitting area around the woodstove.  The views of far-off mountains continue to peek in as you enjoy culinary creations with family and friends. 

Two separate staircases carry you upstairs to the bedrooms.  Once upstairs, you’ll find the newly redone master bedroom located at the back of the house.  Step out onto a new, tastefully done deck for coffee or just to appreciate the view.  A spacious, private bath offers continued privacy in your sanctuary.

Continuing down the hall (there are stairways at either end) are five additional rooms.  Three of these are completely redone and offer built-ins and more.  Two await the new owners’ own decorating touches. 

The Grounds: Come marvel at the breathtaking views of Mt. Belknap, Mt. Prospect, and Mt. Big Job from the panoramic view of your backyard.  Enjoy walking the woodlands on your own property. Watch a winter storm roll in and blanket your 18+ acre property in pure-white New Hampshire snow.  In the warmer seasons, relax in your yard and enjoy the landscaping with mature perennials, raspberry bushes and apple trees.  Rest in an Adirondack chair aside the pond as its companion, the weeping willow, continually stands guard over the entire property.

This building was used for livestock, storage and gardening but could easily be set up for horses.
