Originally from the midwest, Jan Moller has been a resident of New England for the past 15 years and is still in awe of its mountains, rivers and wildlife. Her broad knowledge of the horse world has been life-long, from showing english and western at local and regional levels in high-school. She continued competing after college in foxhunting, eventing, and breed shows - taking her Morgan to the National Top Ten Level as an amateur. When not showing horses as a teenager, Jan joined her family showing dogs in AKC shows. As a junior handler she put a breed championship on one dog and obedience titles on two more. She has thorough knowledge base of what livestock breeders or serious hobbyists require and how to judge property potential. Jan is always eager to share that knowledge and experience with her customers when looking to buy or sell your equine or farm property. Jan lives in south-central NH surrounded by conservation land teeming with wildlife and an abundance of turkeys! Outside she has manageable herd of three equines and two barn cats. Her smiling Standard Poodle, Punch and her Irish Terrier, Fiona keep her company inside and out! When not out with customers or on the computer, you’ll find Jan hiking or riding through the woods, kayaking on New Hampshire’s quiet ponds and rivers, reading a book or baking! Having a diverse business background prior to her association with Farms & Barns, Jan -
• Ran a manufacturing business during the 1980’s recession and learned that every problem has a solution – you just have to persevere, find it and solve it. • Managed a full-service breeding and boarding Morgan Horse farm. • Was the editorial administrator for a national daily newspaper where deadlines and daily predicaments were dealt with detail and integrity. • Owned and managed a boarding & lesson barn. (Again, learned to avert disaster)
