Shirley began her career in real estate in 1980 as an salesperson and real estate appraiser. She opened her own company in 1984 and while heading that firm, discovered the need for Realtors® devoted strictly to folks interested in farm & equestrian real estate. At that point, Shirley created a separate division to handle the complex issues that can accompany farm property listings & sales.  In 2002, Shirley sold the original firm (with the exception of the farm division) and opened Farms & Barns Real Estate, LLC.

Shirley lives on a farm with horses, livestock and poultry in southern New Hampshire and enjoys small-town living along with the culture of nearby cities.  She also loves the outdoors, especially on horseback.  She gets great satisfaction in helping others settle into our rural communities.  It's a way of life that she is eager to share with others who are new to country living or who want to move to or around New Hampshire.
