The Newfound Lake area is famous for its country lifestyle and access to four-season recreation. The immediate area has dead-end dirt roads and trails to explore on horseback, while walking the dog, mountain biking, snowshoeing, or x-country skiing. Downhillers can get to Tenney and Ragged Mountains for serious fun in under a half-hour.  Swim, fish, and boat on Newfound Lake (clean, deep, and refreshingly cold!) just ten minutes from your front door at Wellington State Park where you’ll also find the boat launch. Perkins Hill Rd is classified as a Class 6 road in front of Peaceful Meadows and is only about 500’ from the town road.  There are several year-round and seasonal homes beyond it before the road dead-ends into trails. This is country living at its best!

Sasha, the horse shown above, landed at Peaceful Meadows as a rescue along with her barn mate, Stormy.  They lived out their lives here in complete and utter Peace.
